Lancaster ISD Staff Hits the Streets in a Door-to-Door Campaign to Meet and Greet Parents and FamiliesLancaster, Texas/Lancaster ISD
After a full day of teaching and supporting campuses, Lancaster ISD staff members from throughout the district united to visit the homes of Lancaster residents.
The door-to-door campaign known as the Tiger Community Walk allowed staff members to share upcoming events and district information with community members.
“This event allowed the district and staff to connect with parents, former parents and even some potential parents in a unique setting. It gave the community a chance to see and learn about our district without leaving the comfort of their homes,” Jacquinette Murphy, District Communications Specialist said. “We wanted to let them know that we are present and a part of this community and this is an example of the team approach that it takes to raise our children.”
During the walk, teams from every campus stopped to meet greet and connect with local parents and residents. Teams were also able to introduce the district’s new “I Love Lancaster ISD” yard signs.
